Two Verizon Innovative Learning schools coaches share victories and lessons learned from their experiences as learning coaches leading change in schools transitioning to a 1:1 environment. Verizon Innovative Learning schools are comprised of 74 partner schools and 28 partner districts that represent varied demographics, geographics, and resources of American public education. In addition to tablets with data plans that allowed for learning anytime and anywhere, all teachers received professional development to support technology enhanced teaching and learning. Bringing these opportunities to the school through the Verizon Innovative Learning school initiative created a path for a mindset and culture shift across campus.
