There are many engaging platforms that students can use to become familiar with coding and game design processes, in addition to providing students and teachers with innovative digital storytelling opportunities. Several apps will be presented in this workshop, including Bloxels Builder, Sketch Nation, and Hopscotch. These applications, in addition to hands-on and curricular tools will be presented, which can be utilized in tandem with iPads or tablets to create exciting and relevant learning experiences for students. These tools are open-ended and flexible, which can be utilized by tech-savvy educators in any content area classroom.
