While every Makerspace is unique, with each space created with particular staff and students in mind, they all share a passion for hands-on learning. Some teacher-librarians emphasize the arts, while others explore robotics, the environment, or technology. This session will focus on providing a variety of resources and tips for attendees -- especially those created by MakerEd gurus Diana Rendina & Laura Fleming -- with a particular emphasis on using these spaces as integral parts of units and lessons and on creating opportunities for student assessment in these spaces.
